Our mission is impassioned by Jesus’ example and command to help those in need. We provide temporary shelter, food, medical, and employment connections to men, women, and children in Roswell, NM through partnership with many community partners.

HOMELESS HOUSING

As a 501c3 The Roswell Homeless Coalition operates two Homeless Shelters in Roswell, NM that provide temporary housing to Men, Women, and Children in need. Our goal is simple. Connect individuals to local partners and agencies to help equip them for life off of the streets. This is something that we take very seriously, and our team is working each and every day to make a positive impact in our community.

Our Operations

Our Operational cost at a glance.

We operate three facilities:

Women's Home with 8 beds and two family rooms.

Men's home with 16 beds.

Thrift store.

Each month it cost roughly $18,000 to keep the shelter doors open. Our general expenses include staff wages, utilities, insurance, client services, and shelter renovations and repairs.

Our Donation Base:

We are funded primarily through generous local churches, businesses, individuals, and thrift store sales.

We have also been the recipients of funding from Annual United way of Chaves County Campaigns.

We have also developed strategic Partnerships with Roadrunner Food Bank and Harvest Ministries to meet the basic needs of nutrition..

Shelter Intake Procedure

Our Women's Center is located at 400 E Bland.

Mens Center is located at the 114 E. Albuquerque.

Intakes Monday through Friday.

Onsite directors will conduct intake interview for potential entry into our program.
